This Chrome extension allows you to quickly block post owners on X (Twitter) platform.
1 Click Block (X)
A lightweight Chrome extension that adds a one-click Block button directly to posts on X (Twitter) — no need to open the user's profile first.
Features
- Adds a red Block button next to every post
- Blocks the post owner in a single click
- No need to visit the user's profile page
- Confirmation prompt before blocking to prevent accidental clicks
- Works natively on both
twitter.comandx.com
Installation
Not yet published on the Chrome Web Store — install manually via Developer Mode.
- Clone or download this repository
- Open
chrome://extensions/in Chrome - Enable Developer mode (top right)
- Click Load unpacked
- Select the project folder
Usage
- Open X (Twitter)
- A red Block button appears next to each post
- Click it for the user you want to block
- Confirm the prompt
Permissions

No data is collected or sent to any external server.
Notes
- Requires an active X (Twitter) login
- Blocking can be undone from X's own settings at any time
- Chrome only (Manifest V3)
