My own app, habit tracking · since 2026

Keep Up!

An app that turns habits into streaks and does not let one bad day erase them. Records stay on the phone, with no account.

What was there

I wrote it for myself first. The apps I tried either wanted an account or were too crowded for one question: did I do it today, how many days in a row.

The second reason was learning: taking an app from an empty project to the App Store, widgets and purchases included.

How I built it

No account, no cloud, no ads. Records stay on the phone and the widget reads the same local data.

One bad day does not wipe the streak: there is a freeze, a way to rescue a missed day and a vacation mode. People quit once a streak breaks.

Badges, levels and ranks carry the motivation, with in-app tips for the days it runs low.

Habits like steps, exercise and water can be linked to Apple Health so they complete themselves.

The download is free; unlimited habits and every feature come with a monthly, yearly or one-off lifetime option.

The app runs in Turkish and English, following the phone's own language setting.

What I did

  • Habit records, streak counting, quantity goals and day selection (daily, weekdays, chosen days).
  • Home and lock screen widgets, plus an interactive widget for completing a habit without opening the app.
  • Badges, levels and ranks; reminders, milestone celebrations and monthly summary notifications.
  • The Apple Health link and voice completion through a Siri shortcut.
  • The analysis tab: calendar history, monthly trends and completion rate.
  • The purchase flow, App Store submission, privacy declaration, store images and a promo video.
